After denying a woman the extension she needs to keep her home, loan officer Christine Brown sees her once-promising life take a startling turn for the worse. Christine is convinced she's been cursed by a Gypsy, but her boyfriend is skeptical. Her only hope seems to lie in a psychic who claims he can help her lift the curse and keep her soul from being dragged straight to hell.

Drag Me to Hell might be the greatest okay horror film of all time. After Sam Raimi finished his Spider-Man trilogy, he went back to his roots with a visually disgusting horror film in Drag Me to Hell, pushing its PG-13 rating to the limit. This was such a fun time from start to finish, with a ton of twists and turns that kept me locked in. I’m excited to see Raimi’s new film, Send Help.

I know this is a banger for a lot of Sam Raimi fans but I don’t really care for it. The Gypsie woman’s curse is ridiculous to me like cmon lady it’s the company that didn’t approve you for the loan that YOU haven’t paid! You shoulda dragged big corp and and big Insurance down to hell while you were at it. It’s well acted Alison Lohman does well at being terrified but there were moments that left me wanting a bit more. Justin Long was great always good seeing my boy in these crazy movies.

"I'm scared 😰" "Yes." nodding, "repeat this: I welcome the dead to my soul."

Exactly what it wants to be. Very fun, especially in the second half.
