I don't know how I feel about it.
Ben Barnes is saving this movie constantly.
I personally liked some scenes contexts, though the way it's shoot is really annoying and doesn't put good word for the director.
Maybe on a better side-because it touches a theme that is relevant and debating.

*on a bright young things, the great gatsby and downton abbey kick lately…

very chaotic film, suitable for that era. the butler is the ultimate goat (throughout the whole movie i thought, mr carson would roll in his grave if he saw servants behaving like that)
it’s an extremely right choice to run away with your husband’s dad, colin firth is impeccable as always
