I don’t think this was a bad movie, but it wasn’t amazing either. It just wasn’t anything particularly special, and honestly sometimes that’s perfectly fine.
Not every movie has to change your life or leave you staring at the ceiling at 2 a.m. questioning your existence. Sometimes you just want to sit down, turn your brain off for a bit, and have a decent time.
That’s kind of what this was for me. It’s not something I’ll be thinking about for weeks, but I also don’t regret watching it. And really, what more do I want from a movie sometimes.
