"Why would i lay my hand on you? You love her, that's enough. Her chains will be your chains. Her prison will be your prison. And her death will be your death, without me even touching you."

Shéhérazade and Harun al Raschid are very interesting characters... but Renaud isn't, his energy gave me nothing special unfortunately. Also, the beginning of their romance could've been better, we needed more!! I loved their connection and their love for each others tho --> "And nothing in the world could part you. Not suffering nor wrath nor death. You are linked to each other just like light is to the sun"

But again Harun was so interesting in the way he reacts to the situation, it's so suprising and his lines are perfect.
The love he has for Shéhérazade is so beautiful. I really liked his character

They were things that were perfect in this movie tho... The costumes, the makeup and.. Anna Karina of course!!
