Jonathan Taylor Thomas will always be the goat. I wish he could have done some more acting as an adult. This film was always on when I was at YMCA afterschool during the holidays and I never got to finish it because my parents would always pick me up before it ended. So it was finally time to watch it all the way through after about 15 years and I have to say I enjoyed it a lot. I don't like the motivation not changing for Jake throughout the film until the very end. It gives off a very "I'm sorry I was caught" kind of energy and I don't love that. That and trying to figure out what role Eddie was going to play the entire film was kind of exhausting. However, I think this film ended nicely like most Disney films from that time do. So it was a fun watch but not anything too special.
