This was a very stupid but mildly entertaining film. I can't think of one joke Jack Black made that wasn't cringey or downright unfunny during the entire film. Michael Cera, though, was the one redeeming quality here: he had some good one-liners and comedic delivery. The plot was very jumbled and there were a lot of continuation errors, but it's the kind of film to watch while shutting your brain off. All in all, Year One falls massively short and is not worth watching unless you're a Michael Cera fan.
