This is an underrated Frank Capra film that follows some of the main themes seen in his later work. The pace was fast and well done with quick dialogue and acting. I also enjoyed the performance from Walter Huston, he fits right in with the other Capra leading men. The inspiration behind the story was taken straight from the current headlines.

Interesting look at the operation of banks in the early years of the depression, though I feel it was kinda unfocused at times, though that just may be me so I may watch this again. Walter Houston is great though. Also hi Sterling Holloway.
