Not enough songs in what is one of the funniest musicals ever made, sadly. Lester at least is able to help bring things out of a slump, especially with how staging and editing work in the film

biggest pet peeve when it comes to movie musicals is when they cut songs from the stage version. how dare you cut so many songs written by sondheim? imo theres barely enough songs in this to call it a musical. still fun to watch tho. also i love michael crawford his career is absolutely legendary.
