When lawyer Charlie is sent to a small Nevada town to file a continuance request for a client, his actor friend Richard turns up to throw a surprise bachelor party celebrating his upcoming marriage to the boss's daughter. When Charlie is too hung-over to make it to court for the hearing, Richard fills in, inadvertently committing felony fraud, and Charlie is left with no choice but to coach the clueless Richard through the whole trial.

You put Jeff Daniels and Michael Richards in a courtroom comedy from the director of My Cousin Vinny...and it's free on YouTube? You know my ass is watching that! Doesn't stop it from being bad, though. Because, of course it's bad. I'm going to remake it though and it's going to be good. Will be very easy. Probably my last movie of 2024 because even though it's 1:41 AM on December 31st here, those lunatics at Letterboxd HQ in Auckland...it's nearly 8 PM there already.
