dark places deserved a decent adaptation as much as sharp objects & gone girl. even more, maybe, since i feel like this is the only one out of the three books where the leading force of what happened was actual love (even though it all turned out tragic anyway)

im glad to say that i read the book first, but cant really say i love either of them. and i don't understand why this is shot like an episode of succession???
