my first movie by francois truffaut, which I, honestly, watched for Isabelle adjani, because I read in a book on french cinema, that she played in this movie and it was an important movie for her acting career... but I loved it so much! the main character is so complex, deep and her monologues are amazing. also, Isabelle was the perfect choice for her role, she always does very well in the roles of girls with mental illness and having severe explosive characters, watching movies with her, I’m always amazed at the liveliness and emotionality of her acting, I sincerely think that she one of the best actresses of all time. and that cinematography… 🤍 great movie, after which I will definitely check out other more famous movies by francois
