I have no idea how to rate this film. This is a kind of proto-Sean Baker film. It’s poetic and beautiful and realistic, and it uses mostly non-actors and seemingly improvised dialogue, which sometimes really shows. Some of the line reads are, odd at best, and not all the acting works. Not all the scenes work individually, but there’s this weird way that the movie feels like it progresses by accident. It’s really affecting but also so many random scenes don’t work at all. I think I might watch this again at some point, and I have a feeling I’ll raise its star rating, There’s so much that is beautiful here. I can’t believe this guy made Your Highness…

Such a beautiful, poignant film that at times does not feel like a movie. I felt I was watching these kids in real time explore life and striving for greatness as they navigate through a rural town. Films like this give me such a love for life.Beautifully shot too, it’s wild the man who directed Pineapple Express gave us this, hats off to him.

How to tell if a movie will be really good:
- It’s only available to steam on Plex
-All the main cast have zero other credits 
-The director never made a movie quite like it again

Only bad thing about Plex is every ten minutes, there’s three minutes worth of ads. And that really took me out of the movie. But trust, this is a five star motion picture given the proper viewing experience.

This movie was so sad man and so beautiful. Didn’t know kids could have such great dialogue.

“I just wish I had my own tropical island, I wish... I wish I was... I could go to China, I wish I could go out of The States... I wish I had my own planet, I wish I... I wish there were 200 of me, man... I wish I could just sit around with computers and just brainstorm all day man.”

This movie was so sad man and so beautiful. Didn’t know kids could have such great dialogue.
