Voy a usar esto para decir que la temporada 1 de Maul: Lord of Shadows es de lo mejor que ha hecho Disney en mucho tiempo, incluso mejor que Bad Batch, animación muy nostálgica, buena trama, buenos personajes y un final con demasiado fanservice, pero del bueno.

Using this as a log for Maul - Shadow Lord since Letterboxd removed the actual show. Those last 2 eps were potentially the best animated Star Wars episodes, and I think the show has already cemented itself as the 2nd best Star Wars show. The fact they were able to take a character with no dialogue or personality and turn him into one of the most complex characters in Star Wars. Hopefully season 2 comes out soon.

Maul - Shadow Lord
Season One

It is an absolutely phenomenal show, writing on top, they’re not afraid to kill people and the art style is gorgeous. Of course the animation is like The Clone Wars and the Bad Batch but very noticeably improved. The painted backdrops are absolutely stunning although sometimes it looks kinda flat.

I honestly did not expect much of the entirety of the dark lord to be so much Vader, although the title is named after him but still. I 100% expected Daki to die an episode earlier and was skeptical about how it would go but his death was incredible. I didn’t expect at all for Lawson to die in the first season, but it did come across as kinda selfish of him in my opinion to sacrifice himself like that knowing he barely connected with his son.

The voice acting is incredible, especially Devon’s actor and I cannot wait to hear more of it the next season.
