JIM CARREY REALLY ONE OF THE GOATS!
Milo’s Forman and Carrey were in their bag creating this. First of all RIP Andy Kauffman. Secondly, what an amazing film. Andy Kauffman is such a unique, quirky genius. I’ve never seen any videos of Kauffman but I know that most of the events that happened in this movie were directly from Kauffmans life. There’s truly no one as versatile as Jim Carrey to play the Andy Kauffman. Snubbed as an Oscar nomination. Probably Carey’s most impressive role but not my favorite. Danny DeVitto was amazing. The supporting cast were great. Formans directions stellar as always. Kauffman was gone too soon. There were some really funny moments but I’m glad that Carrey conveyed both sides of Kauffmans life. It was really important that we see him vulnerable and weak to empathize for the character. The ending was really sad. Man On The Moon is just Jim Carrey paying tribute to the great Kauffman and showing off his insane acting versatility.
