The Bitter Stems is an excellent film noir and absolutely worth watching. The cinematography is so stunning, wonderful dream sequence, and one of the most interesting parts of the film is how Gasper’s paranoia slowly grows throughout the film. I’m really glad I watched this hidden film noir gem, and it deserves way more attention.
