why is no one talking about the fact that is almost an exact replica of the blair witch project but a lot worse and way more boring

I had a good time watching this movie, but I wish they had explored the found footage idea more. The movie ended too fast, and honestly, there aren't enough Bigfoot movies out there. The concept itself is super basic and spooky, like camping in the woods and suddenly this scary mysterious creature shows up. A movie about Bigfoot, but never seeing the beast, kind of ruined it for me.

I'll be honest, the tent scene is the only thing in this movie that scared me. It had one incredibly long take that did a great job of making you feel like you were inside the tent with the couple. The usual part where people are running around with a shaky camera, waiting for a monster to appear out of nowhere is pretty overused since you already know what's coming with that. With the tent scene, you never know what could happen next. Being in a tent, you're totally unaware of what's just a few feet away from you, and there's nothing to shield you from any danger. That scene is  really good at creating tension and hinting at what's about to happen. The long, quiet parts make everything feel super believable. Overall, I thought this movie was good. It’s definitely not 89% on Rotten Tomatoes good, but it was entertaining.

Also that much build up just to not see Bigfoot made me very angry like just go to party city, buy a Bigfoot costume and film it with that bad quality and from afar it would’ve worked. Atleast for one scene atleast idk it was disappointing.
