Sands of Iwo Jima
A decent rah rah go America film, where the action is shot well, most of the story is solid, but the characters themselves are no more than standard common soldier stereotypes that are hardly discernible from each other. Also John Wayne is at times having one of his best performances and than at others stiffer than a wood board.
