This is such a beautiful film. The way the colors reflect on the environment are very pleasing to look at. The fight sequences are really action packed as you might think but they’re really mesmerizing to look. They managed to make the fight scenes very beautiful with how they flow with their movements. Our main character is likable, he’s the practical guy that’s different from everyone bc he has a kind heart. Most things that happen in the movie are basic and common but the way it’s crafted is what makes it shines.

Absolutely bonkers. “The Bride with White Hair” is all libido and is melodramatic trash of the highest order. It’s absolutely gorgeous and lurid and carnal, and can only be led by Leslie Cheung and Brigitte Lin, the two most mysteriously androgynous icons of Hong Kong cinema and the only two actors in Hong Kong history who can channel the fairy tale eroticism necessary to make the film work. It’s as if Chinese eroticism died with this movie and never came back....
