House Arrest
Man, they don't make movies like this any more. This is the earliest film I can remember seeing in the theaters and I hadn't seen it since since the VHS came out. Seeing it for a third time and the first as an adult, maybe my nostalgia is fogging my opinion a little (or maybe a lot?), but I still love this movie. The premise is so creative and although I do think the plot is rushed and had more room to explore the message, it is so much fun and has solid 90's family humor and heart. I don't know if it would hold up as a comedy to today's preteens as it did for 1996 me, but I think the story is still fun enough to entertain.
