So this could be my final ever letterboxd review, i know its sudden, but just listen. The state of the world right now is scary and everyone is stressed to the max, hell i dont even know what today let alone tomorrow will bring with new news of some suffering and tragedy. Its safe to say that the united states and the world as a whole are kinda a shit show right now. For the next 2 weeks i will be in Europe, (yes its ok to be jealous) and the reason im writing this review is because im a bit nervous about going, on the day im going to be flying out im going to have a layover in a pretty dangerous third world country called canada and im stressed i wont be able to make it out without some stupid ass accent and an obsession with hockey and maple syrup, pray for me in this time of need. (Canadian money is called looneys i am so cooked🙏😭)

I couldn't really pay attention to the movie, so it wasn't very interesting.

Although Chan is charming, this gets really repetitive and the story isn't interesting enough to make up for it. I was expecting something more along the lines of Police Story, but Half a Loaf of Kung Fu is full of fart jokes and Chan making goofy faces. Chan is 24 here, but he's acting like a middle schooler (and looking like Coconut Head) and it's not flattering. I got real bored forty minutes in and it never really got me back. The action scenes aren't enough to carry the movie and aren't choreographed that well.
