Jawbreaker is a hilariously dark comedy starring the always great Rose McGowan, Judy Greer and Rebecca Gayheart. Following three high school girls who plan to kidnap their friend as a prank on her birthday. But when the group leader Charlotte takes it too far by putting a jawbreaker in her mouth, it suffocates her to death. Jawbreaker reminded of a mix of Mean Girls and Heathers. A dark comedy about three high school socialites, who take in a nerdy girl after she finds out about the body. It’s silly, it’s a vibe, I had a great time with Jawbreaker. Definitely a perfect example of a cult classic.
