10/10 May the 4th be with you all. Has to be like my 20th or something all time watch just such a goated movie. I loved Star Wars since childhood and still do. This is my second favorite Star Wars movie behind Revenge of The Sith but honestly they’re more like tied. I usually watch Revenge of The Sith on May 4th every year but I decided to switch up my flow this year. Every time this holiday comes up I get into a Star Wars rewatch which I probably will get into sometime this month. Because May for me is just usually a Star Wars marathon. And for some reason I have always associated these movies with summer time. I mean it genuinely my favorite third act ever is in this movie. The aura is just seeping through my screen the final battle. And this movie is quite literally 30 years before its time. Such a revolutionary movie. Would anyone else love to take a Yoda philosophy class because he is the definition of wisdom. Every character in this movie (except for Lando who I do love) is an icon to this day. Vader will always be the best character in fiction ever argue with a wall. The Mandela effect on “Luke, I am your father” actually being “No, I am your father” is so insane. I have had this wrong for all these years. And I didn’t even realize till my ELA class 2 weeks ago when we were talking about the Mandela effect that “No, I am your father” was the line the whole time. These movies are timeless and they will still be alive far after our times. Happy Star Wars day everyone.
