When his father dies, poor Fella is left at the mercy of his snobbish stepmother and her two no-good sons Maximilian and Rupert. As he slaves away for his nasty step-family, Maximilian and Rupert attempt to find a treasure Fella's father has supposedly hidden on the estate. Hoping to restore her dwindling fortunes, the stepmother plans a fancy ball in honor of the visiting Princess Charmein whom she hopes will marry Rupert. Eventually, Fella's Fairy Godfather shows up to convince him that he has a shot at winning the Princess himself.

A charming (pun not intended) twist on the story of Cinderella. Jerry Lewis and Ed Wynn are a great duo and very good together. The third act is a bit rushed but still entertaining (even if some things are a product of their time😂)

que combo totalmente aleatório e maluco, eu amei! super interessante a ideia de transformar a história atemporal da cinderela em um troca de gêneros, onde a “Cinderela” em questão é o homem, e um homem como o próprio godfather dele diz “you’re not handsome or clever but you were chosen by us all” kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk a comédia nesse filme é muito afiada e bemmm silly entao eu não recomendaria pra quem não gosta desse tipo de coisa, principalmente por ser um filme dos anos 60 e ter várias referências a esse tipo de época, combinadas com o humor
