This movie has everything and it somehow all works. Action, comedy, heart, good production, fun gimmick, not totally predictable.

A very bad movie, carried to three stars because it’s genuinely hilarious. The main guy is essentially daredevil if he was incredibly gullible and refused to admit when he was duped. I would watch this again immediately if literally anyone suggested it.

Is it just a late 80s remake of Zatoichi and Lone Wolf and Cub with a big serving of cheese? Yes, but also, blind Rutger Hauer is so badass he cuts a baddie in half with THE DULL END of a katana.
