Two identical twin sisters, separated at birth by their parents' divorce, are reunited years later at a summer camp, where they scheme to bring their parents back together. The girls, one of whom has been living with their mother and the other with their father, switch places after camp and go to work on their plan, the first objective being to scare off a gold-digger pursuing their father.

i had to rate it “okay” but this movie is actually an 8/10 in my heart <3
the mom was cunntttttt // her personality was so fun and fiery
this movie was entertaining and it makes sense why the lindsay lohan version remade it bar for bar
side note: i wish i went to summer camp like this omg

Well, I don't care if it does sound silly; I miss those wet stockings you used to have hanging around the bathroom, and I miss my razor being dull because you used it to shave your legs with. And I miss the hairpins mixed up with the fish hooks in my tackle box... it's no fun having a clothes closet all to myself. And it's no fun swearing because you're not around to make believe you're shocked by it. Well, nothing's any good without you Maggie, I miss a lot of things... I guess I just miss you!
To be Maureen O’Hara, especially in this movie. She looks fabulous Both versions have things I want to say, but this one in particular because of the song in the opening credits. How many divorced parents had to deal with their kids trying to pull a Parent Trap after this movie came out? I guess a lot
