Palermo, Sicily, 1984. Examining magistrate Giovanni Falcone allies with Tomasso Buscetta, a former mobster, to defeat the clan of Corleone, the ruthless Mafia faction that rules Cosa Nostra with an iron hand, cruelly eliminating all those who dare to oppose its immense power: other criminals, policemen, judges, even innocent civilians. Excellent Cadavers
A great film about Giovanni Falcone and his fight against La Cosa Nostra. I really like this film because I am interested in the history of Sicily during the Maxi Trial, Riina's terror campaign, and the Second Mafia War. Ever since I watched Il Traditore (2019), I had even written a script about Riina. It's so sad that great men like Falcone and Paolo Borsellino and so many others died because they wanted justice
