**So this is what happens to mama’s boys?
**
Santa Sangre didn’t failed in showing the trauma of the past that bleeds into the present. However, at the middle of the film it feels so repetitive and somehow stagnant because of Fenix’s action. Still understandable for Jodorowsky delivering the influence loop of brutality. The final part of it is one that I am astound, the sense of liberation and the ability to let go of those past, because we have to—rather than continue to suffer under it. And in doing so, we lift up our soul trully.
