It sucks that the original Cantonese audio is so hard to find, because these dubs are atrocious. 

Regardless of how horrible the dub may have been, the film itself isn’t terrible. The stunts and choreography were electric, which is to be expected of a Jackie Chan flick. They may not have been the craziest, but the film was basically nonstop fighting, which made it a super good time. Not much else to say about this. It’s just fun.

I watched this on the plane leaving Toronto, and lo and behold when the movie was over and i got off the plane, i was still in canada.

Great time, what it lacks in plot it makes up for in choreography. Some of it does feel a little more showy than fluid but I’d chalk that up to the style/it being Jackie’s directorial debut. 

If for nothing else you should watch so you can see Jackie beat the bad guy with a hammer fist to the balls.
