Not sure why I hadn’t seen this before. Really good movie. It is very gory and intense but it’s also about war so can’t complain there. I also think Wahlberg puts in his best performance (maybe?) so there that too.

Such a tragic but incredible story that has always inspired me. I’ve watched this many times and I still remember my dad showing this to me for the first time in 2014 and I was feeling so ready to avenge the fallen. I think the movie itself is also incredible with great performances and intense moments. Very emotional and it just broke me when Heroes by Peter Gabriel started playing in the credits as the real life soldiers’ pictures were being shown.

I missed when Mark Wahlberg actually chose great projects and actually acted instead of the hallmark level of trash movies he does nowadays. I never understood the hate regarding his acting, I still have hope though that he’ll do something noteworthy as he’s always been one of my favorite actors since I was in kindergarten.

Many scenes felt like Far Cry 5 cutscenes just the way they were filmed and I hella appreciated that 

And why was it acc in 17k quality like boyyy 

I messed with the lighting a lotttt 

I thought this was pretty good but it felt a bit long and there’s nooo way they survived those massive ass drops

Also that Mike Murphy looks like he knows a thing or two about the highs and lows of high school football
