Robert Mitchum and Jean Simmons are great in this film out of the two premingers I watched this one is closer to fallen angel with similar builds and it jist being very flat, but Angel Face has a really good 2nd half with its courtroom scene and Diane going insane when she doesn't get what she wants. She can't go to jail for her crime against her stepmother so she has to kill frank in order to be content with herself good noir.

Simple and enjoyable Preminger noir with some very good performances from Mitchum and Simmons. Can't believe they pulled that on me TWICE.
