"I like to look for things no one else catches."The first time I ever watched this I only got to halfway through the film and never finished it. My dad put it on and I think at the scene where Georgette and Joseph go in the bathroom my mum turned it off because that was a bit too much for a 9 year old. Anyways this film has always been on my mind since then but I'd never watched it in its entirety until now, and I'm so happy I did. This film is so whimsical and heartwarming. Amelie is a character I relate to a lot and I think it's really beautiful that a character focuses so much on finding beauty in small details, love, and helping others. I will be rewatching this film every time I need a reminder to appreciate the little pleasures in life.
