I typically like the journalism films, but this one didn’t quite do it for me. Sally Field’s character was infuriating to an extent and I didn’t buy the relationship with her and Paul Newman’s character whatsoever. That said, it had a slightly compelling (if not confusing) story with fantastic newspaper machine footage and a great little scene from Wilford Brimley.
