Better than Ready Player One.Throughout the movie, I was questioning why I should care about what was happening since the game didn't seem to affect the plot that was introduced, and it was kind of making me uncaring towards this movie. I thought it was still entertaining with great effects, editing, and concepts, but I couldn't care about the characters. Before the ending, I was going to write this off, but after seeing the ending I might like it. This is a movie that is saved by its ending, and it will make rewatches mandatory. Even if the ending didn't save it, I still found interesting things about it that only Cronenberg could make sense.
