First of all, thank you so much to the Criterion Collection for bringing us the absolutely breathtakingly gorgeous Kay Francis in 4k Ultra HD.
I loved every minute of this. Extremely charming and could very well be Lubitsch's best work (as many people including himself have already stated). One thing I'll highlight in particular is the camera movement used in some of the shots surrounding the buildings. I'm not sure how they did it but it's very cool stuff. My favorite use was when it was used to show in the different rooms and floors of Madame Colet's house.
I also really liked the use of character actors Edward Everett Horton and Charles Ruggles. But you could really compliment the performances of every one of the cast members over and over again.
The use of music and song, art direction, and costumes (mainly Kay Francis's) were also top notch. I adored the gowns Kay Francis's character wore.
