Are we all watching the same movie? I found the directing to be very poor: all of the acting is absolutely terrible, the cinematography is incredibly bland (I don't know what "amzing shots" y'all are talking about), and the pacing is awful. Add to that choppy editing and the butchering of a promising story and you've got an excruciatingly long sixty minutes. It's becoming more and more obvious that the World Cinema Project isn't about good movies, just ones that Scorsese feels have stories with social value, regardless of the quality of any of the movie making. Redes is a poorly told story with piss poor acting, zero visual flair, and was edited with a hatchet.
