From what I can tell, Inventor Crazybrains had an idea for an airship, then imps came and knocked him out, then he envisioned his airship with beautiful women floating out of it, then it exploded and he woke up? Something like that. Quite strange, but visually inventive as all of Méliès work seems to be.
