When I say that you have to be able to act in defense of bad taste, this is what I mean. There is no doubt that LolliLove is a deluge of bad taste after bad taste, but all of it here is in service of something that is genuinely funny despite of the bad taste because it is all in service of mockery of a specific kind of awful person. The target is deliberate. The low-budget Troma charm rears its ugly head once more with an uglier script than its ugly content. When the appearance of niceness matters more than the actual desire to reduce harm, what you get are people who are like these fictionalized versions of Gunn and Fischer. Great work
