A overly long meandering film that seems to purposely drag out every moment. The main concept of the film would be interesting if there was development of why George Peppard wanted a Blue Max and more importantly if Peppard was even remotely interesting. It is clear he suppose to be purposely unlikeable but he has no charm or charisma or anything else going on that makes me care in the slightest, add on a bunch of secondary characters all of whom are almost equally meaningless and you end with a very dull movie. The movies only shiny points are the plane shots and the last ten minutes where things of interest actual happen
