First Katō and certainly not the last this was a real joy to watch however bleak
Rare to see the camera moving like this consistently around this time so WOW this felt fresh
I feel like I’m only just uncovering the films that didn’t want to stop moving
I can see myself loving this more if I watched it another time, maybe late at night and stuff
For something so short it packs a lot in and is really satisfying
I’d say this can go toe to toe with The Sword of Doom in plenty of regards you got the merciless samurai and the innocent victims of his ruthlessness
Got the innocent old dudes and the strange elaborate plots and all that
Ofc the haunting and the going insane
This was really great
All the outside shots were fantastic too I’m really pleasantly surprised and hope to uncover more films like this that move the way this does
Really fantastic and I’m super impressed I think
I can see myself revisiting this as I can’t think of many other films that do it any better
