The amount of love, passion, and care John Carney pours into his films leaves me speechless every single time. Begin Again is a love letter to that intimate magic that exists only within songwriting. Though it has its faults and weaknesses, the passion overpowers them almost completely. I feel lucky to exist in a world where John Carney’s films exist.
