12-year-old Pelle accidentally gets bitten by an ant and develops unimaginable superpowers. With help from his friend, comic book nerd Wilhelm, Pelle creates a secret identity as the superhero Antboy. Slowly things start to happen in the surburban community, and when a scary and crazy supervillain, Flea, enters the scene, Antboy must step up to the challenge. The first Danish superhero-movie. Based on the books by Kenneth Bøgh Andersen.

Garbo in every way, but still charming cause of the nostalgia. I will never rewatch this again but it’s fun reliving the memories from when I was a youngin.

Plutotv has a pretty wild selection. This one isn't out there, I've seen it before, but I didn't know there were sequels.

Antboy should be able to use his powers as he pleases, if he gets a bit popular, so what?
Wilhelm is just some salty nerd that wishes he had powers.
(I'm also a salty nerd that wishes he had powers, why does this random Danish kid have some and not me??)
