A show for mothers and daughters to watch together. Watched this with my mum and this show was just 10/10 emotional throughout. Every single story told in the film was SO impactful. 10/10 storytelling. Watch this anytime you feel your sense of self-worth drop. * "Losing him does not matter. It is you who will be found and cherished."*

cried like an actual baby all throughout the movie. the characters are so multidimensional and display perfectly what it’s like to be a woman specifically an asian woman. the need for validation from one’s mother is so SO real and beautifully depicted all across. the central theme of hope the mothers carry for their daughter was my breaking point i think it’s just so beautiful how women that were deemed unworthy just want their babies to live out their ambitions 🥹🥹
