Lured by the promise of an Australian holiday, backpackers Rutger, Katarina and Paul visit the notorious Wolf Creek Crater. Their dream Outback adventure soon becomes a horrific reality when they encounter the site's most infamous local, the last man any traveller to the region ever wants to meet—Mick Taylor. As the backpackers flee, Mick pursues them on an epic white knuckled rampage across hostile wasteland.

The opening scene is beautiful. There’s nothing like a bit of good old retaliation.
I have only rated this a 2.5 but I did genuinely like this film, just don’t think I would watch it again for a while at least. Think my rating would be higher if they hadn’t massacred a bunch of kangaroos and impaled a dog. Not my kind of stuff.
Never going to Australia though. I would fail Mick’s quiz and I would lose all of my fingers.

Still so fucking good! I listen to the soundtrack almost every day. The chase scenes are top tier and the psychological menace is unbearable! Mick Taylor is so underrated.
