The world Cameron created here is simply fantastic. Avatar is hypnotically beautiful. With cinematography that makes you feel part of Pandora, vivid and memorable characters, thrilling music, and a beautiful and profound script, Avatar became one of the most important films in modern cinema and science fiction.
I understand that it might not be a film that everyone likes, either because it's too commercial or because it's not their style, but Avatar's influence on the industry is undeniable.
It's a very enjoyable film to watch. It's very entertaining. Some of the directorial choices didn't completely convince me, but they don't make it a bad film by any means.
Cameron uses many things here that we've already seen in his other films, like Aliens mainly.
