i would be lying if i said this wasn’t a really fun romcom, and while it’s not like masterclass, it’s still something i’d totally recommend. while the plot is highly clichéd/predictable of a woman and a man falling in love, it still a great movie in its own right, with a really fun style of humour and a highly charismatic lead, which completely made the movie work. the colours are resonant to the 2000s comedy flicks, being vibrant and lively: and that made it have such a comforting atmosphere. its optimistic, humorous and generally a really easy watch for instant dopamine. it also shows consumerism really well, which is relatable for many (also sorry for the spam, i just haven’t been very active the past couple days)
