an incredibly surreal experience, with a really bizarre ending that perfectly fit into the film. the cinematography was really nice, with the voyeuristic shots of windows, characters and landscapes. i think there is a lot to take away from this piece, in particular themes of loneliness that Satō often has in his works. really interesting film here, having an incredibly bleak atmosphere throughout.
