This and Enter the Void are the only movies I've seen where POV shots include blinking. I know there's more out there but both of these film use it so damn well I want to believe only The Diving Bell and the Butterfly and Enter the Void did it.
This film is so sad, yet so absolutely beautiful looking, poignant, and pretty funny at times. Seriously, this is one of the most gorgeous films I've ever seen with perfect camera movements and angles. Mathieu Amalric was possessed by he spirit of Jean-Dominque Bauby ill, it's insane how good he is in this.
Time to read the book now because I for one want to learn more about this flawed, but interesting person.
I guess the biopics that sucked the most are the iens where you actually want to learn more about the person and it is presented in a fun way. Go fucking figured.
