the eiger sanction script doctor:- allow the main character to travel to switzerland, the title location, before the hour mark of your two hour movie- give the characters we're supposed to feel suspense about actual character (make this a whodunit... please)- center the impressive climbing by giving us room to breathe around it, or else the fact that a dude died while doing these stunts means almost nothing- make clint eastwood's character even a tiny bit interesting or likeable - CHANGE THE DOG'S NAME!!!

Starts off hot, but even with the humor taken right out of the parody novel, this film is a bit of a slog.

However, some nice actions shots especially on the mountains and it is cool that Eastwood did all his own stunt.
