There’s a shot at the beginning where JCVD moves his duster coat out of the way to show his leg in the same way a lesser person would to show a firearm, moments before he hits a double roundhouse on two goons. Later on he punches a snake then turns it into a booby trap and Wilford Brimley rides a horse away from a huge explosion. This movie rules.
Though it feels like Woo has it dialled back slightly (maybe since it was his first American outing), the pairing with JCVD is inspired.
