Three

Ik kan altijd genieten van films die een verlies van onschuld en morele puurheid behandelen. Deze doet het op een erg interessante manier door de film op te delen in drie episodes, die allemaal plaatsvinden rond een executie. In de eerste episode is hij een getuige, in de tweede is hij een slachtoffer, en in de derde de verantwoordelijke. Het einde voelt voor mij redelijk ambigu maar misschien interpreteer ik het verkeerd, maar volgens mij kan er op het eind nog getwijfeld worden hoe diep hij gezakt is sinds het begin van de film. Hij is in ieder geval veranderd, zoals oorlog dat altijd zal doen. Soms is de dubbing wel een beetje slecht, vooral in het moment waar de emoties het hoogst oplopen in deze verder vrij kille film, hierbij is namelijk de auditieve performance een beetje over the top.

Three was really a masterful yugoslav film about ww2 focusing its run time on three stories all around the same man in the first story he is a witness of the war in the second story a victim of the war and in the third one he is an executer of the war the film has a really great cast with the likes of Branislav Jerinic Dragomir Bojanic Gidra Slobodan Perović Mica Tomic and of course the legendary yugoslav actors of the partisan flim genre and one of my favourite actors of all time Bata Živojinović although I'm this film he is not the action hero partisan like his other performances in this time u really liked his performance here thud one and his magnificent performance in pretty village pretty flame are some of favourite performances of all time Aleksandar Petrović really made a masterpiece hare and made me interest wanting to watch more films from the yugoslav black wave (Crni talas) it really is a masterpiece I highly recommend you watch this beautiful film
